2025 Platinum.... group 701A
Concerning the electronic opening of the tailgate, PAT. The FOB control is great. But the manual states I should have an incab push button in addition to the FOB method. Can anyone confirm it is with group 701A?

Thanks for the reply. My left side panel is different than yours. My upper panel only has the Auto/stop push button. Your two side mirror light controls are next to the dash panel light control on mine. I guess since it is with the FOB, Ford eliminated a panel switch.

 

Oh, that's not my dash. Just a pic I found of a tailgate release button. My 18 doesn't have any fancy stuff like that.

 

My 25 Lariat is the same

 

From what I’ve read, the dash button was removed in 2025. Not sure if it was a job 2 update or otherwise. I have a 2025 Tremor 402A with the multi-access powered gate - also no button the dash.

 

I saw a walk around video of a '26 and it was back.... That said, it be nice if my 25 had it.. ill live without it...Key Fob it is...

 

My 2025 Raptor has the tailgate control button just to the left of the headlight control ****. If your 2025 Platinum has it I would expect it to be there. Here is what my buttons look like:

 

Yes. Where that button is on your raptor i have the fuel door release button. And where your auto start/stop button is I have nuttin'. Ive seen it in three places. Where yours is, where your auto start/stop button is, and over the info center stack.. and 4'th place.. nowhere. Seems like Ford likes playing mind games with dash buttons from one trim to another and model year to another.

 

My 2025 Platinum 702A Power Boost doesn't have an in cab button. My 2021 Tremor 402A had it, just another item Ford cheaped out on.
