Not sure about your issue but I will say that the 3.5 ecoboost has never been a smooth idling engine.

let me know what they say when you take yours in about the wiper motor recall thing. on the invoice I got when I picked it up it also said "parts unavailable" on it in addition to what the clerk telling me that they would only replace them if they fail
