If you build your own hybrid the only color allowed on the configurator is Agate Black. Has there been talk of adding other colors anytime soon? Thanks

 

It appears that the build your truck web page is currently having some issues. You should not be limited to black, however if you pick a color like antimatter blue and they apply the sport package it will change the color back to black as Antimatter Blue is not available for the sport package... What trim level were you trying to build.

 

The Ford Build and Price just let me build a Antimatter Blue Platinum with the Hybrid engine but it still appears that the web site is a little sketchy right now.

 

The build and price always has issues. I would treat it more as a guideline and not fact.

 

I looked at a 2021 Rapid Red PowerBoost XLT Sport this afternoon........

Had 302A, moonroof, tow technology package, etc. Sticker was $59,490

City/Highway/Combined mpg all @ 24mpg Don't think I have ever seen a rating like that before

 

you can get the powerboost in any color, its an issue with the build page that you are experiencing

 

You can't get it in Race Red, Guard or Space White due to plant specific paint.

There are some color restrictions with powerboost, because it's only built in one of the two plants, and that plant doesn't have all the colors. But it's not *just* black. Black is just the default when your chosen color gets removed.

 

Thanks. I'm interested in a Lariat 2x2 in red with the sport package and Powerboost. An XLT might be my next choice if the Lariat isn't available in red. I haven't gone to a dealer yet, I will this week. Cheers
