Default Please help pinpoint rattle

2023 xlt…. I have this really annoying rattle coming from both the driver and passenger side dash. It doesn’t happen all the time, just in certain conditions. I’m not sure if heat and cold have something to do with a trim part expanding or contracting or what. I can’t tell where it’s coming from and I’ve jostled around parts where it sounds like it’s coming from
and nothing seems loose. I have removed everything from the door pockets and glove boxes, as well
as played with the air vents to try to troubleshoot. It happens on the drivers side too just not as bad as the passenger side. The AC is on but it also does this when it’s off. Please help!
Ford customer service rep that’s on here… do you have any idea what’s up?
edit: I have a short video I’m trying to upload but it won’t let me. It said the video was too large so I trimmed it down to fit, and now I get a message saying “alert: there was an issue processing your data” so I’m not sure if the the attachment is viewable.

Is this a 4WD or 2WD truck?

Assume it happens while driving. Can you have a passenger ride with you as rattles can be hard to find (unless obvious) while you are trying to drive. Plus the passenger has the ability to move around to pin point where the noise is coming from. Can you describe it better or record the sound? Does it sound like a someone shaking a spray can (this is in case you have a 4WD)?

It happens while driving and it’s a 4X4. When it does it on the drivers side I try to hold the dash or door panels to see it that’s where it’s coming from and it doesn’t do any good.
it doesn’t do this all the time, just in certain conditions that im sure have to do with temperature and humidity, etc expanding and contracting parts. But that’s just my guess. And it’s only when I’m hitting bumps or ripples in the road, no matter how minor or major.
I tried to upload the video in my first post and I went back and edited it so I hope it uploaded.

Try to put thick weather foam in the area, I think I have hear similar and it fixed my rattle.
between the A piler trim, and dash.

Agree, you can also have the passenger use a mechanic's stethoscope much like a doctor uses to listen to one's heart, they amplify the noise which may help locate it's source.

Agree this is an easy and cheap fix once you locate the noise source, denser foam seems to work better from my experience.

Check these threads. Could be the same triangular piece on the front interior part of the doors.

This one was spot on for my issue.

Either put a piece of small foam tape like mention or take the cover of the a pillar. There are 2 10mm bolts to take out remove the grab handle/a pillar and on the tabs at the bottom put the foam tape there. Anything at the bottom to keep the bottom of the grab handle/a pillar from hitting the dash.
