Default Order Preview when Ordering with XPlan

Im looking to order a 2024 King Ranch with x plan. On two prior purchases (2015 & 2018) with x plan I was given a copy of the order preview with MSRP and Invoice prices and X plan price before order was finalized.

Dealer told me today that Ford changed their system and it won’t allow them to display pricing plan numbers.

sounds like BS to me…

anyone with recent 2024 ordering experience that can confirm or refute this?

I placed an order on 5/1 with X plan and received an order sheet showing msrp, invoice and X plan pricing from my dealer at the time of order.

Thank you. That’s what I suspected.

Here’s a screenshot of the last interaction with the sales manager.

Guess I need to find another dealer

Yup, they are either lazy, dumb or trying to hide something. This was the sheet I received prior to the order being placed to confirm options/pricing on my new truck.

Not exactly in Dallas, but in 2015 I ordered mine from Holiday Ford in Whitesboro. It was a very easy process, no games and the same great price whether I bought it off the lot or ordered. Finance was easy, no pressure to buy the optional products.

Back in the summer of 2020 (the height of Covid mania) I went to their sister Chevrolet store and ordered a Corvette. Picked it up July of 21, again no games with sudden price increases or shenanigans in the finance office. I will definitely be calling them next year when I am in the market for a new F150.

I had a dealer try to tell me the same thing, basically that they were unable to give me X Plan pricing until they had my PIN to prove eligibility. While it's true they may need that info to verify eligibility, what they didn't tell you is that they are then able to "lock in" that PIN to their dealership. I assume you'd eventually be able to force them to unlock it, but it would be some kind of hassle to get control back if you chose a different dealership.

That same dealership tried to get me to agree to "X plan plus" pricing.... they were incredibly sleazy from start to finish and I did not deal with them even though they had a fully loaded '22 Platinum (no deletes) that I really wanted. I reported the interaction to Ford but I doubt that does much unfortunately.

that is surprising to see all of that on the order sheet. mine doesn't have that pricing on it and I got z plan with mine. mine only shows msrp at time of order back in September.
