Those of us who have ordered Superduties were notified that if you have the upper trims, King Ranch Ultimate, Platinum and Limited, the multi contour seats will be deleted and a credit for $300 put on the sticker.

Has anyone who ordered an F150 had similar notice on their orders for options removed?

Not at all happy they deleted the MC seats, one of the reasons I ordered a Platinum was because of the seats!

 

Seeing this more and more, wife was looking at new 2022 Enclave

No steering wheels heater
No heated seats
etc

I am wandering if the Lightning will get the deletes.

 

Better to get it deleted and a credit than have them installed in the truck the same day they get cancelled. So my truck is built, and I have the seats, but no control module. So my truck is just sitting until they manifest one I guess.

 

I would doubt it. Cant have a truck debut at $90k (or $150k after ADM) and then have missing features.

 

A loaded Platinum stickers over $85k and that isn’t safe from feature deletes.

 

A loaded Lightning is well over $90K. One of the main features of the Platinum and Limited ARE the massaging seats, its WHY you buy one! Really other than the seats, everything else is available in the Lariat.

 

I received my production date yesterday for an F150 Platinum. It shows that the seats were removed. I also opted to move up to the Platinum because of the seats. Not happy at all. I will cancel my order if they are not included. They marketed these orders as order the truck the way you want it but then what I want is deleted? No, I don’t think so.

 

Agreed, I stick with Lariat because I prefer the look over the Plat/Lim, but every truck I order I am tempted to give up my reservations about the looks to get the nicer seats. But without the seats it at least fully removes temptation. For those with active orders though, I think a credit would have to be pretty substantial compared to other removed options like Sirius or Nav which are easily replaced by your phone or whatever.
