I've been trying for the past couple of days and keep getting this message as well.

Same thing. When I go to the link posted: https://assistant.google.com/service...afd15?hl=en-US The page that opens for Fordpass is just a page. I can't click on anything for it to "link". I saw on one youtube video there was a link button at the top right. Nope. My options I see are Share or Bookmark.

The only way I've been able to actually get a link process started was by (found it on another webpage) telling the Assistant "Speak to Fordpass". Assistant responds "Before you can use Fordpass I need to link your Fordpass account to Google. Is that Okay?" I say yes. It goes to the Fordpass link. I try to sign on and get the "The login service is unavailable at this time. Please try again later."

This is frustrating. I'd really like to try this service.

Same exact scenario for me. Thought I was losing my mind there for a while, especially when I could not even log into my FordPass app like normal. Ended up calling FordPass support. The nice lady said they have been inundated with calls about the app not allowing logins today. It just let me log into the app about an hour ago but still no dice on getting the link to Google Home app. Maybe it will work eventually.....

Sorry I mentioned that Alexa could do it. Apparently multiple hits to their app to set it up crashed the system.

FYI I just got Google Assistant to log into FordPass. I got routines set up complete with PIN so all I have to say is: "OK Google. Start my truck" and it starts without PIN every time. Check here: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threa...e-start.10676/

I have set up routines for start my truck, unlock my truck, & lock my truck. I just tested and they all work and definitely work much faster than just using the Fordpass alone.

This is a very cool & handy thing. Thanks, AnthemMike!

Default Siri Gets Around As Well

For you Apple guys... I have successfully created Siri shortcuts following instructions posted on the Mach E forums. Here is a link to get started.

I was able to link/login this morning too. I have the routines set to start, stop, lock and unlock. I tried the start and stop and they work. I haven't tried the lock and unlock yet (I'm at work and I can see the truck lights for the start/stop, but its too far away to see the door locks lol).

If you have an Apple Watch you can install the Ford Pass app on that and lock/unlock or start your truck. This is what I use. Very convenient
