Default OEM frame

Ford stamped out an arrow in frame to designate where the front lift points are. But where in the rear of the frame is the lifting point location for a 2 post lift application?

I question i have is: on the bed.. the bolted fasteners have plastic insulators… the third aluminum rail under the bed rides directly on the frame.. i would think an insulator should be there…

When we lift these trucks at my shop it's at the front frame arrow or just in front of the cross member, and for the back arms on screw/scab it's just before the frame bends upwards see picture. Basically where that little oval slot is. On a reg cab Short box we lift on the rear spring mount.

There are insulator pads on the bed supports. You may not see it but it's there.. I'll try to remember to walk down to the box line tomorrow and I'll take a picture of them.

What size bed do you have?

For the rear the Ford recommendation is to lift from the axle and the information is on the 2022 owner manual on page 457. This makes a lot more sense than to lift from the frame as the rear leaf springs will extend down to the ground if this is done.

Yes, you are correct to say that Ford says lift at the axle housing, for lifting a corner for tire change etc. But I'm talking about 5-6 feet in the air with a 2 Post lift, those arms would not reach to the axle housing .
I agree with 'Stealthservices' but those 2 points on frame are only 4' or so apart which seems to be narrow for a long truck.
Does anyone have a pic of a scab or crew on a ford lift?

I jacked my truck up and put it on jack stands. Rear was right by where the frame curves up, front was by the arrow on the frame. Other than realizing I need taller jack stands, I didn't have any issues.
