Default Need help identifying….

Hello all, I have a 2022 f150 powerboost. I was changing my oil and noticed this…. A leak?

i want to get some thoughts before taking it to the dealer.

It is indeed seepage, Fords are known for this. Every Ford truck I’ve ever owned had some sort of seepage at the drivetrain seams. Even though it’s a 22, you’ll likely have to fight with the dealer to do anything to fix it.

It shouldn't be seeping, that's a quality issue. They may or may not agree that's it not within spec. No seal is perfect, they all leak, it's just a matter of how much.

Personally, when I see something like that on any of my vehicles (new or old), I let it go as I don't think it's worth the hassle of a repair. But.. as soon as a drop of oil hits the ground, it's getting fixed.

Seeping not leaking, they will not fix it.

That is seepage, ford will not fix it under warranty, it has to be a leak that is dripping on the ground before it is repaired under warranty.
