Default What is this Warning Light?

On my 2023 Lariat I keep having this warning light to the right of the temperature display going on and off thru out the day. Some days it goes on and off all day, other days it never comes on. I think it may be related to the cruise control settings, but both myself and my brother in-law cannot find a picture if it in our manuals. What is it for? Thankyou

Collision avoidance disabled. Can be fixed by cleaning the camera.

This will go on and off when you are within the distance parameter set for your cruise control. When you se the distance at 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars, etc., this little warning light will go on when you approach the vehicle in front of you, even at highway speed, within that distance. That has been my experience anyway.

It's basically telling you if/when you are too close to the vehicle ahead for the collision avoidance feature to be able to stop you in time. That's why it appears and disappears while you drive. You should give yourself more room between you and the vehicle in front of you, tailgater!

Mine also goes off if the sun is too bright on the front camera, and it in effect, blinds the camera. Happens a lot this time of year. Once I turn to go a different direction where the sun is not in front of me, it shuts off.
