How does it work if I push the button it turns off, do you know how to operate?

You can just leave it on. When you go to park the truck it will warn you if something is in your way.

It silences the alarm when you are backing up too close to something. Useful it tailgate is down, or you are pulling a trailer that is not plugged in.
