Mud flaps
Yeah, I'm the opposite. I abhor chrome on my vehicles. Love it on everyone elses' rides. I go the black/grey look. I bought Ford mats for my truck and they came with white? F150 badging on them (had Ford mats for my SD and they were ALL black). ICK! didn't know that. oh well, they work so I can't complain.

chrome accents throughout. There is an aftermarket way to delete all that chrome, but researching it its very costly and labor intensive to do it the right way.
So i figured if i wont delete chrome, i might as well make it interesting somehow. I think star white and chrome looks ok, not as dated as some of the other color combos with chrome.
but staying on mud flap topic, here’s this same style with no chrome or white letters.

I’m not a big fan of chrome either. But ironically, ford decided to exclude 157 wheelbase from 2022 black appearance package on ALL trims, so my only choice for platinum is those

You gotta decide if you're a pavement queen or not.
I have the WeatherTech no-drill flaps, but they're moulded, in deep snow last year they were hanging up on stuff, so i need to change to "real" mud flaps, went with the Gatorbacks. Which are ludicrously expensive!
If you're looking at mud flaps, as opposed to moulded stuff, then Gatorbacks seem a really nice premium option, they're comparative at just the rubber versions, but rise in price steeply as you add stainless plates and then officially licensed logos on those plates if you so chose.
Ford do supply them through dealers as a result of the licensing.

Yeah, the gunmetal are the most expensive of all options and the 2021 model year adds 200 over the 12th gen trucks for the set.
(2021 prices for a set)
Changing the plate finish drops the price. (regular blue ford oval for example is 477)
Dropping the logo drops the price. (blank stainless plate is 324 for a set)
Replacing the stainless plate with the black anodized aluminium plate drops the price. (379 for this set - you have to look at each option to see which plate finish costs what)
Having no plate (just rubber) drops the price. (307 for the set)
Choosing Razorback versions drops the price even more - this is basically a budget version of the Gatorback.

They're same flaps, Ford do several OEM options, Gatorback is one of them. Moulded, so very stuff and essentially does not move, longer with some movement in them, and then i think the next option is the Gatorbacks.
Here's Ford's accessory page for them - https://accessories.ford.com/vehicle...sh-guards.html - note they're commonly sold in pairs.
Not sure why they're saying they don't fir the '21 model yet, but i do know they're trying to get them to work and will work with anyone savvy enough who owns a 2021 model.
The issue with the 2015+ trucks is the alu body, makes the attachment options that much harder/complicated due to metal types and corrosion etc - they do seem to care about that. It does mean the bracketing system ends up costing more money as a result though

says $240 for a pair. So 480 for 4. Unless i am not understanding something.
