Default MSRP Increase

I just got a window sticker for my 2021 that was ordered on April 30th and I noticed something interesting, the price on the window sticker doesn't match the paperwork I have or the price that I get when building my truck on Ford's own build and price website. The price of all of the options stayed the same, but on the window sticker the base MSRP for my F150 4X4 SuperCrew 145" jumped up $350 to $44,155 and does not match the $43,805 base MSRP shown on the build and price website and all my paperwork. Has anyone else noticed price jumps after placing their order? I'm not at all concerned about the $350 increase as this is hardly a drop in the bucket when buying a $50,000 truck, but I do find it odd that a higher than advertised price is listed on my window sticker.

Interesting. You just caused me to check my window sticker and I see the same thing; a $350 MSRP bump. I ordered on April 15. I sent an email with my window sticker attached to my dealer. As long as the bottom line we negotiated holds, I don't care what Ford put on the sticker for the order. I'll let folks know what I hear.

I just checked mine and it is exactly the same as when I ordered on 1/29.

I'm not worried even if it did change I negotiated my price before I places the order. I'm glad I did too.

Advertising one price and changing the price after people place orders is a little different than just adjusting prices based on supply and demand. If they updated the pricing on their website and just said all orders placed after a certain date will be subject to the new price that would be entirely different and completely reasonable. Falsely advertising a price they don't intend to honor and changing the price after an order is placed is actually illegal in most if not all states.

I ordered in February and just did a build and it matches. If you build on their site, make sure that lease is not selected because it adds the acquisition fee.

When I ordered and currently the Power Boost was at $3300 option on the Lariat. My dealer has gotten 2 stock orders where it is listed as $2500 on Lariat.

For price increases are effective June 1.

If you have a signed sales order you should not have any issues on a price increase.

Interesting how some are seeing this price and others aren't. My order date is 1/13/2021 and, when the window sticker surfaced two weeks ago, it had the higher base price. Since my written quote is based on all invoice pricing (further reduced by the holdback fee), my question to the dealer will be what is my Lariat's invoice base price. But first things first; I gotta have a truck!

Wow! I just went back and checked my original order with current Window sticker and it's $400 more on the window sticker!

Good Catch!
