Default Which motor

F350 owner, considering new f150 gasser for daily use. Hauling 2 snowmobiles all winter every year we haul 10k of tractor and trailer for service 150 miles. We do put 180 miles a week on rigs to cabin and fir work a week. Trying to decide between 3 2026 models. Tremors with 3.5 Ecoboost or V8 5.0 or King ranch f150 with 3.5 power boost hybrid. Gas mileage is not my major concern. Comfort Reliability and performance for one of my last truck purchases would be what I seek from knowledgeable users. 4wd because snow finding takes us into the mountains as does cabin drive each week.
any constructive thinking would be greatly appreciated. Leaning at v8 but only because I an an older person.

Interesting question. I like it. But I am not going to recommend that you get a F150 for towing a trailer weighing 10k. Take a look at Ford's own specs for the F150.

F150 Towing and payload specs

My bias is that trailers up to 8000lbs are ok behind F150s. Above that its time a Super Duty is a more capable vehicle. Both going and more important than stopping.

IF you go f150, I’d suggest 3.5 Ecoboost with the MaxTow. 500lbft of torque.
The V8 is a great engine and is also capable. It isn't a V8 in the vein you grew up with. Simple went out of style decades ago. 😃
Power Boost has you carrying a big battery around. Great in some situations, maybe not in yours?

Thank you. Guess we will keep the F350SD we have for the tractor towing.

Technically...a "motor" is electric...an "engine" is what you mean...
