Default Misssing components ?

So I came out of a 2018 lariat high package that cost me 62k out the door loved truck and now my son has it. Ordered same exact truck from window sticker of 2018 march1st truck comes exactly 6 months to the day aug 1. Love it , not happy I paid 1500 under sticker but with the times I guess I got a deal. So now the questions. 1- have the 3.5 eco boost motor and noticed I have no start stop button to turn off and also noticed truck doesn’t shut off ever, is it even an option to not have start stop on that motor. 2- ordered the highest package possible on the lariat and truck does not have bed led lights which I find odd being it was standard on my 18 and this truck was 10k more Also no step in tailgate which I thought I ordered with box link. Let me know if this is normal and whether there is wiring behind caps in bed to install lights myself.
thanks

The auto stop/start was deleted to save on chips so you should have a 50 dollar credit on your window sticker.I believe you have to have the bed utility package to get the tailgate steps and bed lighting.

As confirmed already, step and bedlights (and on Lariat: Powered Tailgate lift) were moved to the specific Bed Utility Package, not a part of the 502a trim.

The wiring is at the rear lower bed corners to install. You'll need two extension harnesses, the switch, and the lights. Then you'll need to enable it in FORscan.

ML3Z-14A411-F drivers side jumper wire from existing plugged connector (dummy plug) at drivers side to switch and lamp.
ML3Z-14A411-D passenger side jumper wire from existing plugged connector (dummy plug) at passenger side and connecting to passenger side lamp.
FL3Z-9C888-B Switch
JL3Z-13A756-A Bed Lamps.

FORscan changes

Just did it this weekend, and the hardest part was laying on my back to plug in the connections after feeding them down the openings. Nothing to it.

I think it would if you have the high trim level, my XLT has the led bed lighting and power tailgate without the step. It was part of the 302A package here in Canada and the step was additional.

Look under the bed by the lower corners. You'll see one plug on each side capped. This is the driver's side plug (arrow), with the Bed Lighting harness plugged into it. This is looking up from the ground.

DS plug is black, PS plug is white.

Awesome, Thanks! Just found all the parts and am going to pull the trigger tonight after I verify I have the plugs. Do these activate only by the button in the bed or can they be activated inside the truck as well?
