Default Missing the heated steering wheel

In March 2023 I sold my 2018 King Ranch, a super nice truck, and got a 2023 Platinum. Unfortunately it does not have a heated steering wheel. This last week I have really missed it.

Ford recently started a campaign to have this feature installed on certain trucks that were supposed to have and did not come with it. Post or PM me your VIN and I will check to see if you show the campaign open in PTS.

Would the Dealer be aware off this Campaign?

2023 SCrew, Lariat, 3.5EB, FX4

They should, but I would not be surprised if they don't. It was just released 4-5 days ago. See screenshot below. All they have to do it run your VIN through PTS and see if campaign 22G06 is there under the open FSA's (field service actions).

Yeah, the ONE option you really "need" is the heated steering wheel. Once you've had it and got used to it, you can't live without it.

It was sure nice to have the last few days on my Explorer. Kinda like the power seats on my Dad's '62 Bonneville. He really liked that feature.

I saw adding heated steering wheel almost $1000 in parts.

Until about 6 months ago, it could be done for ~$500. Then, the price of the heated wheel tripled.

Missed that boat. Got truck a month ago from the lot. Pretty much everything I wanted except for heated steering wheel, Sad part is they credited $140 for heated steering wheel.
There is no way it cost $140.
On bright side I got $10k off MSRP.

Truth…such a nice option in the Midwest and plenty of other places too. Now if only we could get heated floor mats…ha ha. Just saw this accessory in the John Deere catalogue for tractors/combines. We’re beyond spoiled sometimes (and no, we did not order any).
