I was washing my truck and noticed this rubber piece on the rear driver cab roof was flapping in the water. It was seems to be missing a fastener, after looking at the passenger side.
Anyone know what type of faster it is? The existing one's head doesn't look like a normal or security type screw/bolt. Would they have used a rivet?
Guess I'll stop by the dealer tomorrow.
I can't imagine how much water would get in through that place. Will look at mine tomorrow, but what a complete boy scout looking assembly from Ford. Seriously...
Judging by your drawing, your fasteners have fallen. I think you can find yourself a new fastener size from 200 or a little less. I think it won't pop out anymore. Of course, you can also pick up something a little bigger than size 200, and then it'll stand very firmly with you. Look at the fastener options on https://www.scrooz.com.au/. I've been buying them on this site for many years. There are many fasteners for different purposes in the store's catalogue. That is, you can find screws and bolts for the car and the roof, house, doors, and so on. I wish you good luck in restoring your Dzus.

Just noticed the same thing on my 23 Limited. How can so many of these trucks have the same issues? Is anyone at FORD paying attention? This is really dumb stuff on such an expensive truck.
