Default Missing 7.2 kw plug ins

While looking at my truck today I noticed that I only have the 2.2 kw plug ins installed. The order was for 7.2 kw and it is also stated on so on the window sticker. Why I didnt notice that when I picked the vehicle up, who knows? Now it has got me wondering what else is missing, pretty sure the scale option is also missing as I dont see anything about it on my screen. This was suppose to come with the max trailer tow package that is also listed on the sticker.

Is the truck a 2021 or a 2022.I just built a 2022 on ford and the onboard scales are a stand alone option for 650 dollars and the site won’t let you add max tow to a power boost. It defaults back to regular eco boost. So if that’s the case you can only get the 7.2 kw with the power boost.I am not sure if the build site changed though from when your truck was built.

That sucks since you've accepted it. I'm sure the dealer will not take it back. However, if the 7.2 Kw option is listed on the window sticker, and it's not there, you should at least get back the $750 that option costs.

lol...check the VIN on the window sticker vs your truck just to make sure there wasn't a simple screw up at the lot..unlikely but, hey...you never know. But regardless, that sucks indeed. And it isn't like you can just go get that option installed.

Is it a Powerboost/hybrid motor?

There's no 2.2 kW, there's 2.4 kW and 7.2 kW and both require PowerBoost. The 2.0 kW doesn't.

Is the winder sticker factory or a dealer reprint?

If it is a factory sticker and the VIN on it matches your door sticker, I would question if the circuits and system are there and maybe the wrong outlet panel was installed in the bed due to the parts shortages. It is possible you have the 7.2 kWh system. Take it in and ask questions.

If the sticker is a dealer reprint, go find out if your sales guy mixed up trucks. Your salesperson may have made a pretty serious error here or intentionally cheated. Vehicles go through dealer delivery inspections in the shop before getting handed over to customers so this seems like an issue you should complain about.

Sales people fear the Ford post purchase customer survey as if its god because their annual bonus is tied directly to it. Make sure you leave an honest review regarding your experience.

Factory sticker it appears, also just look and it does not have the scales on it even though it suppose to have the Max trailer tow package. Well at least on the sticker.
