their suggestion is to program memory button #3 with different (down) mirror positions....then when you back up simply select Memory #3....its a bit of a band-aide BUT....their way tilts BOTH mirrors.
I think memory #3 could work better - since it adjusts both mirrors (not just one, the way I recall it working on my expedition).

There are a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating how to program the mirrors to tilt when in reverse (it only tilts one mirror and the one selected).

You understood my question perfectly. I have those buttons. When I read this thread I was thinking the tilt was the mirror housing not the mirror itself....my mistake.

As I recall correctly, there is a setting in Forescan for "Lincoln Mirrors" that I believe does the mirror tilt down when you go into reverse. Check the Forescan sticky note at the top of the forum. There are negatives to using this feature, but I don’t recall specifically what it was.

Edit: disregard…. I was waaaaayyyy off. Wrong mirror function. I was thinking of Lincoln Autofold….

This is why I love my 360 cameras. Never had them before, but won’t be without moving forward. That said, programming #3 is brilliant…love the ideas I get on this forum.
