Default Magnaflow

Put a Magnaflow Cat Back model # 19577 on my '23 Platinum Crew Cab 5.0 with the 145" w.b. It's supposed to be the quietest one you can get but it is one loud mother. Plus, we had to add 2 inches to the front hanger to make it to the rubber grommet. If you're looking for a little more noise, be careful what you wish for. 50 years ago, I would have thought it was "cool", now it's just annoying.

I agree, its nice to go on a drive out to the lake or take the fam somewhere and not listen to too much noise... Ive never understood the Harley riders, listening to loud BRAAAAAAAP for hours at a time... My rumble comes from my 65 Fastback, not my truck.

Yeah sound is very subjective. Just looking at it, I’d expect it to be quite a step up in volume and tone, being just a small resonator which replaces both factory units. Might be able to add another small Vibrant or magnaflow to the forward section to help tone it down a bit more.

I really like the sounds of many of these systems but when I’m towing I just know it’s going to be a bit too much during long trips up to elevation so I’ve kept my stock exhaust and just lived with the silent nature of it.

Sorry, but that's beyond my ability.
