The location has quit updating in the Ford app. Info such as truck on/off, gas status, tire pressure, etc, all get updated (and are accurate). But the location hasn't updated in weeks. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

check the location permissions on your phone. It updates on mine

 

It’s a known issue continent wide. The fix will be the first week of December. I’ve called, had text updates, etc.

If your truck is stolen, they’ll still have the location, it’s just an app glitch that’s being worked on (slowly it seems).

 

Thanks for the feedback. FYI, the data is coming from the vehicle & Ford, thru the app, and any individual phone's permissions won't affect it.

Yep. You’re definitely not the only one. Mine hasn’t worked in a few weeks either.

One issue I've had is that my "inhibit" security function never seems to work. It always shows the truck is still moving despite being parked in my driveway.
