So the dealer that I bought my "new to me" 2022 F150 PB King Ranch from finally found the second key fob and mailed it to me.. but... it doesn't work.. the battery was dead, so I put a new battery in it, and still nothing.

Put it in the cupholder slot, still nothing.

The physical key that is in the fob is a perfect match and works in all the locks, so I am inclined to think that it is the correct fob as well.

Any ideas why it may not be recognizing it, and what can I do to possibly get it working?

not much.. the key was for a used truck.. and is 400+ miles away.

I bought the truck with one key fob and the previous owner must have found the 2nd and brought it to them, and they mailed it to me.
