Ok I swore I was not going lower but after seeing some slammed regular cars I'm going for it. I've searched but not got the answers I'm looking for. Is the Vas Fab kit worth the 600 bucks more than the Belltech? Are the Viking coil overs that sweet?

the belltech struts failed on my truck and I wound up with dim control arms. I had VAS traction bars on my truck and they were good. Don’t know about Viking stuff.

Do you mean the coil-overs failed? What component failed?

Thanks for the details, as I'm looking at the 1050HK kit.

From the research I've done while I waited for my truck to show up. Seems like the belltech struts don't last they fail, leak... the flip kit doesn't seem as high a quality as it could be and there's has been reports of driveline vibrations in some applications. If I'm going to spend the time and money I want to do it once and not have issues. I had looked into the vas and ihc kits but It looks like their 4x4 kits sit level or even appear low in the rear on a screw a add a leaf or helper bags can be added, so I'm either going with the ridetech kit which has an adjustable rear flip and coil overs or maxtrac, been talking with them and supposedly there's a 2" drop spindle in the r&d phase and it works with their 4" flip that's currently out.

I wonder if it's possible folks are not setting the perch height correctly, trying to get more drop than the design, and causing the shock to continually bottom out. That would certainly cause longevity issues. Thanks for the info, I'll keep researching this. I have seen the pinion angle challenges folks have had. Flipping a diff never results in a great setup unless you're going to weld new saddles on the other side of the axle. I wish there were a way to accomplish a 4" drop in the rear with a different leaf pack.

I believe there’s a lowered truck section in the forum I’m sure those guys will have a good knowledge of things

Not coil overs, no, the replacement lowering struts. If you’re speaking of bell tech coil overs, I have no experience with those.
