Intermittent Interior Lighting
Guys,
I cant find my original posting but it had to do with lighting. Occasionally it would open the door at night and it would be dark. Each time I'd take it to the dealer, it would not act up of course.
Lately I needed to change out my old 5 year battery and every since doing that, the lighting and Bluecruise (another sometime problem) has always worked since. New vehicles are so sensitive to battery voltage I swear.
If you have odd electrical glitches and the battery is old, do the replacement.

It could very well have been a battery issue, if the battery was 5 years old it probably needed replacement. Just make sure you perform a BMS reset on a fully charged new battery. You could also try fully recharging your original battery and perform a BMS reset as well it may help as a temporary fix. Another thing to try with the interior lights is spray some wd40 into the door latches and opening/closing the doors several times then repeat a couple times, you may have a sticky door switch. We have a few super duty's sitting in our lot that do some weird things when the batteries are low, one needs you to cycle the headlights on before anything else will power up, once it's charged up it's fine until we let it sit.
