Default Interior Lights Issue

I have a 2022 F15 Power Boost. It started have a "Service Battery Soon" message coming on. Took it to the dealer they said there was a service bulletin on it. Got it back no more message. Now the interior lights do not come one when I open the door. Is there a setting I'm missing? Anybody eles having this issue?

Sounds like your 12V battery is due to be replaced, the dome lights are one of the first things the BCM kills when the battery is dying

I was thinking that also, but I just got it back from Ford service less that 3 weeks ago. Why would they not change out the battery if it was not performing as it should?

Another thing I have noticed. When I turn the truck off now, the radio does not keep playing until I open the door like it use to. Also, there is a little graph line showing it is shutting down with a warning to turn the truck off to save battery. I only have 33,000 miles on the truck. Purchased in August 2022 so the battery isn't even 3 years old yet. I do live it East Texas to our weather is bad on batteries. I'm not sure how to check the battery myself. I have a multi meter bout not sure the voltage of a good battery in the Power Boost.

because it has to fail a ford approved battery tester if it still under warranty, most dealers unless you tell them you are getting a message or having issues won't pay any attention to it

I called Ford service. He pulled it up and said the last report showed the battery at 36% so he said it looks like the battery but if the Ford tester said it was good , they will not replace the battery. I hope I don't have to pay for a new battery. We go to Colorado ever year in July for a month. I don't want to be there an have an issue.
