Default Interior lights

Just wanted to see if everyone’s truck has this same problem. I have kids and they turn the overhead lights on from time to time to see what they’re doing in the back seat. If they leave a light on and I shut the truck off, I cannot turn their lights off without starting the truck back up! Many times I won’t realize the light on and I have to get back in and restart the truck simply to turn an interior light off. Does anyone else have this issue and am I the only one who thinks this is annoying?!

To me, the annoying thing is not being able to turn the light off without starting up the truck. Kids are kids and I’m not mad at them by any means. I just think this is an oversight on the part of Ford and it’s just downright annoying.

I haven't tried exactly what you're saying, but one thing I really do like is when they leave one on, I can push the "all on" button and turn all the lights on - and then push it again - and they all go off. That's really kinda sweet.

Hmmm….I wasn’t aware of this. Does this work even with the truck turned off? I’ll have to try this….

In the center console up on the ceiling, directly the the right of the left (driver's side) reading light. There's 2 buttons there, 1 to turn on only that light, and 1 to turn on all the interior lights.

On the right (Passenger's side) reading light there is a button to turn on that reading light, and a button to turn off the interior lights when the doors are opened.

Easy to push that one on and then your lights wont turn on when you go to get in the truck so wanted to mention it.
