Default interior lighting

Just got a new 2022 XLT and noticed I have no interior lighting along the floor areas in the front or back. Are there no interior lights in the new F150's?

If your truck has it, they may be turned off. When I took delivery I noticed there were no footwell lights on so I poked around the settings menu and found the ambient lighting slider. Mine was set to the lowest setting so I just slide it up to about 60%

Yeah I usually get a new truck every 3 or 4 years and just tired of these "casualties". I was so happy to get this new big screen just to find out they removed the factory nav and sirius? I mean come on. I like carplay but just takes so long to connect to sirius.everytime I get in my truck. What a waste of a nice big screen. Time to dump ford I think for my next truck.

XLT trucks do not have foot well lighting. If you are a push button start truck you might be lucky and find the ambient lighting connectors unused. problem is they are not connected to the BCM so power is dead. If you are a key start you could use 2 media bin lights in the foot wells and build/buy a harness to hook them up. I have been working with several XLT guys, theres no rhyme or reason on which trucks have the unused connectors and which ones dont(this applies to PTS trucks only).
