Default Hurricanes!

Idalia, Michael, Hermine, and now Helene? Quite the ride. Glad I have generators. This will be a long week.

Yep NWF area. We have whole house solar and batteries complete Enphase system. Never have to worry about grid power again. I could just go off grid completely.

BUT that would make me get an meter fee bill which we have not had in a long time. We get the 26.98 meter fee and then that gets washed with the credit in Jan for the year.

So no power bill and backup power for hurricanes... win win

Be Safe !!!

And now Milton! Major hurricane on track for Tampa, then Orlando, Daytona Beach. And hurricane season still has seven weeks to run.

I just flew in to Ft Meyers Saturday morning and heard about Milton a couple hours later. Will keep an eye on the news Sunday and figure out what to do

Oh the joys of living in Florida
15 years down there, ten in Tampa, five in Miami

Thanksgiving on the beach was awesome, but I don’t miss the traffic or the storms.

Everyone be safe, stock up, if you haven’t already.

FEMA is going to be a mess. The migrants overwhelmed the border right after COVID so it would have happened anyway.

One has to wonder how many times we’ll rebuild Florida before we say enough. Maybe building on a wetland isn’t such a great idea.

Be safe, if you evacuate, do it early so you’re not tied up in traffic.
