If the problem exists only when the trans is still cold then monitor the transmission temp and let it warm up to 90 degrees before putting it in gear. If not an improvement have the fluid level checked.

I've a 2018 F150 3.5L powerboost/10 speed transmission - and I live in Michigan. I've noticed this 'clunk' or 'shudder' as you described on occasion when we were dipping in the low teens/single digits - but only when I'm pulling out of my subdivision (so when the transmission may be colder). It doesn't persist once things get warmed up.
Only thing to do is burn some gas and run the remote start for 5-8min, just enough to warm it up a bit.

My 2018 shifted hard/shutter when cold sometimes. I found that if I put it in Eco Mode it helped until the transmission warmed up to operating temperature. Luckily my 2021 seems free of this shutter so I haven't had to see if it works on the 2021's.
