If the problem exists only when the trans is still cold then monitor the transmission temp and let it warm up to 90 degrees before putting it in gear. If not an improvement have the fluid level checked.

It doesn't persist once things get warmed up.
this is the exact issue, super easy to reproduce if you are in cold weather...it’s an engineering problem that can only be resolved with a very expensive redesign - the brand new truck coming in 24/25 will have this fixed.

Only thing to do is burn some gas and run the remote start for 5-8min, just enough to warm it up a bit.

My 2020 was great and now my boy owns it and it is still great. I can only hope my 21 is as smooth.

I have not had that problem with my 502a powerboost. It was between -50c and -30c for ten days straight with zero issues.

My 2018 shifted hard/shutter when cold sometimes. I found that if I put it in Eco Mode it helped until the transmission warmed up to operating temperature. Luckily my 2021 seems free of this shutter so I haven't had to see if it works on the 2021's.
