Default Headrest too far forward

I really like the new truck but my wife really didn't like the headrest (doesn't bother me). The new non-ratcheting headrests are the about the same thickness but are at a more forward angle. I had to take my 2017 ratcheting rest from the passenger side and swap it.

Anyone else have this issue? Any solution with the original (2025) rest?

When I was doing DRAG Week, I had to remove mine as with my helmet on, I couldn't hold my head up right like is natural. They are kinda a crappy design and do lean too far forward . Not a big deal when I am not wearing a helmet.

I found on mine laying the seat back a little made a big difference, as long as that doesn't cause issues itself.

Personally I can’t believe they aren’t adjustable. One of the negatives imo.

Do you have access to a good bench vise, wide enough for the head rest rods? Why not try a little persuasion and bending the rods to change the angle. Just a thought.

Wait a minute, the head rests aren't adjustable fore and aft on the 2025? 😱

Or 23's, don't know if it's a trim level thing.
