Hello! I’ve done some searching but haven’t had much luck. I have a 2022 Platinum that I’m working on de-chroming and trying to figure out grills that are paint matched or black. Most I see don’t have mounts for the front cameras so Im at a loss and just looking for recommendations! Thank you!

that looks SICK. Did you have everything paint matched? Or did you find the parts already painted? I have smoked quartz and it seems to be next to impossible to find it in the wild

 

Painted a bunch. Wrapped a bunch. Wife didn't understand... that is, until it was all done. Then she did!

Your truck is very nice! Can you please provide info on what you painted vs wrapped ?

 

Grill is from Ebay.
Emblems have a black wrap on them from Etsy.
Window sills and running boards have black wrap.
Door handles are OEM PTM and I painted them.
Platinum applique was painted.
Mirror caps were painted.
Platinum letters on applique are from Ford.
Fender vents are wrapped in gloss and behind the flags are a color match wrap.
Tow hooks were replaced with new take offs in black.
Chrome bumper piece was replaced with textured black.
Wheels are from Ford Performance.

 

did you paint the tailgate appliqué yourself? Or did you have a shop do it

 

I did.

 

been awhile, but I ended up getting paint from a local body shop, and sprayed my grill and tailgate appliqué so it’s now all paint matched. Also picked up some oracle flush mount tails and sprayed those as well! Turned out sweet and almost no chrome left on the truck!
