Default Grill gaurd ?

Has anyone put a grill gaurd on one of these 21 up models? Ranch hand has one I'd like to have but there is a ton of stuff behind the grill and I can't find the install directions on line. I'm a little concerned about all the clutter between grill and radiator, appears to be a shutter system. Thanks Jim

I'm on the forum too often. This question is asked every few days. Between the parking sensors and Adaptive cruise sensors, its very difficult to design anything.

Ya I don't have to deal with sensors or adaptive cruise but I'm thinking the louvers are going to be an issue for the top mounts. I guess I'll try calling them and see what they have to say.

JC do you have a ranch hand model in mind? If you post a link to it we might be able to find install instructions for yoyo

I found an install guide for one of their grille guards for 2015-2021 F150 and it only mentions brackets that attach at the frame where the tow hooks are. No mention of any upper supporting brackets.

Found a video of a Legend series guard install on a 2016 F150 and same thing. Just two brackets at the chassis where the tow hooks are and that's it. Nothing up top.

https://www.ranchhand.com/grille-guard-ggf21hbl1.html You may be on to something, I looked at the above again with what you said in mind and I don't see an upper mount. Maybe a little less sturdy on an animal strike, but any help would be good. Thanks for opening my eyes! Jim

I spent a lot of time and effort to get a FabFours installed. I wound up figuring out a lot of the stuff myself.

I was looking at a bumper but after the truck arrived I decided I like the fog/turn lamps so backed off to a grill gaurd. It's been a while since I've hit a deer but they are thick around here. My boy has hit 2 in the last year!
