My 2024 Lariat will only show Google Maps in part of the screen, even when in full screen mode. I’ve gone so far as to totally delete the app from my phone. I just can’t get it to take the full display area so it feels sorta worthless (dramatic). Other map apps work properly, but nothing is really a Google Map except Google Maps (best feature over Apple is the automatic zooming with your speed). Anyone have this or know how to fix it?

I use Android Auto. I can't be of any help. Have you tried searching on YouTube?

Do you mind sharing how you managed to get Google maps from your phone onto your dash display? I can't even seem to accomplish that!

I had the same issue this weekend. I had to deselect the audio source. I went to the Home Screen on the radio selected the source as FM then went back to Google Maps and it went full screen. Mine happened while I was on a road trip using IHeart Radio. When I stopped for a rest break then started again it did that.

Force close maps on your phone while is displayed in carplay, so it restarts?

Sometimes on AA I have to go to NAV, put it in full screen and come back to google maps and it is then full screen. You might try that with CP.

You could try force restarting Sync to see if that fixes the issue. Hold the volume(power) **** and the forward seek button at the same time.

My solution, turn off Carplay on the Iphone. Pause a moment. Let the Ford figure out CP has gone, then turn CP back on again. Everything reconnects correctly.

Its an Apple problem.

Click on reverse camera and back off. Apparently there are several ways.
