Do you have a subscription to FDRS and at least a mongoose cable or better? You need this to do the update manually? To do this yourself will cost at least $50 for 2 day FDRS license. $500 for mongoose cable and roughly a $100 for a battery charger with power supply mode. Its not hard to do if your willing to spend the cash. This is assuming you already have a laptop computer capable of running the programing.

This will roll out as OTA updates (multiple) when Ford rolls it out. There is nothing you can do beyond setting your truck to look for updates every day. I have mine set to 1AM 7 days a week.
This thread is about either getting the dealer to do the updates (which they can't say no to, refer to original post) or a customer to do them using FDRS and the right cable. Not OTA updates which haven't yet been rolled out.
