Truck is actually at the dealership for the recalls, with TSB 22-2117 as well. I asked them to update to activate bluecruise. For anybody who has activated bluecruise in a job 1 2021 truck, how does it ask you to pay the subscription fee, and when? Does it notify you in Fordpass? I’ve gone to my account at ford.com on line and looked at connected services, but it just has the old message about functionality pending. I recognize they are throwing in the first year free, but I’m trying to see if I’ll be able to figure out if the dealership has done all the required module updates before I take back the truck. As soon as they get it all done, will it show up on line or in Fordpass?

I haven’t received any emails, nor anything by snail mail. Truck was built in February 2021 in Kansas City. Window sticker has a line that says “Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0” Cost of the latter was $750
So, what do I need to do to get hooked up? TIA

If it says ASSIST and not ACTIVE (or ACTIVE prep), you do NOT have the package unfortunately. Can you post the window sticker?

People that have updated their trucks themselves have gotten a FordPass notification within minutes of installing the GWM update that "enables" BlueCruise. There are several updates before that which need installed first, but if it's at the dealer and you have FordPass setup, you'll get a notification when they've gotten it updated.

Once the last Gateway Module update is completed Bluecruise will be active and free for 1 year. It will be almost right away once the update is done.
