A little strange... when I bought the new Benz back in 2008, nobody said a thing about it. Not that I was fishing for compliments.
I got the 2012 F-150 XLT 4×4 but it was plain and all black. No compliments there, understandably.
Now, fast forward to 2016. When I got the new Ford F-150 XLT 4×4 in ingot silver colour, I got a few compliments.
Last night, I went back to the same place with my new F-150 Lariat 4×4 in two-tone oxford white and sandstone gray and I got a lot of compliments. The two-tone paint did the trick...

I know you’ll find this interesting. BMW in other countries has starting building all their cars fully loaded. And blocking certain functions and having you subscribe to them and pay a per month fee to access them. So to access heated seats is X amount per month and so on for whatever features you want to use. Hopefully ford does see that and decide it’s a good idea.
I don't always have reception so I don't know if that's a good idea... good to know though.
My mother told me her BMW wanted to charge her to use Android Auto. What if BMW detects a heat wave, then informs me, "Due to high demand, there is a $5.95 surge to use the air conditioner." Man, I'd be pissed! The last BMW I owned was a 730d (3.0 diesel). I wanted the same car when I moved back to the U.S. but diesels weren't popular.
