Default Gears!!!

I have a 2023 f150 King ranch leveled on 295/60s (34x11.5) and currently running 3.31s. I’m looking to go to 3.73s but just really don’t know which brand of gears to go with. I’d really like to buy new ford gears but can’t find them. I’ve ran motives in my gms, I want a quiet just like factory ride. Some of the past installs have had slight gear whine. Any suggestions?

if it’s a gear whine it’s because they weren’t set up properly. I’ve run some summit brand gears before snd they were fine, I’m saying that because they’re super cheap. But you should be able to find ford performance gears for the Ford 8.8 super(unless you have the 9.75”, there are two options) I’ve seen them before looking through Ford parts and also on third party sites. Dealers should be able to find them. But there are a lot of good brands, yukon gear for example

pretty sure mine is the 9.75 because it has the e-locker for the rear. I was planning on running Yukons if I couldn’t get any ford factory gears.

Try this site and use your VIN.

Parts.Ford.com | The Ford Parts Site | Buy OEM Ford Parts Online

I'm guessing you will get a part number, then you can search for a better price.

You probably have a 9.75 set in a KIng Ranch unless it is a 2.7, pretty easy to tell the difference by looking at it.
I have changed gears in the past on a few different vehicles, talk to a diff shop.

it’s the 3.5, has the e locker. Not many shops around Savannah Ga I’d trust to do it honestly.

Shoot me the last eight digits of your VIN, I can tell you for sure what the rear end is and I can tell you which Ford 3.73s will be correct.
