Default Gauge cluster issue

Has anyone else experienced that he speedometer and tachometer smaller than normal? I thought I did something wrong and they will start about small when first getting Into truck. As I drive, they eventually go back to normal size.

It’s your Nav making them smaller. It tell you where to turn in the middle of the screen and pushes your gauges to the side.

My navigation will work while the gages are big too. The oil, temp (small gauges) will be close to each other. And the navigation will take over whatever my current view is (tire pressure, fuel economy etc..) and show in between the Speedo and tach. Ford says it’s hasn’t seen the issue. I’m still trying to figure it out.

Sync based navigation may work while the gauges are large, but Android Auto navigation always makes the gauges smaller. CarPlay may also make them smaller for the same reason although I can't confirm that.

My gauges go "small" also whenever I use the built in SYNC4 navigation. If there is no destination set, then the gauge sizes are normal size.

Did anyone ever figure out a way to Switch off the Navigation Turn by Turn on the Dash?

Need a solution to this. I mostly drive with CarPlay (Apple Maps) in Europe. The spedometere becomes smaller and on top of that it keeps miles and km per hr, making text even smaller. What's the point of a huge digital dash display then? I want CarPlay to only stay on the 12" screen, I never use the dash to glance for turn by turn. Any suggestions? I can't use Sync navigation in Europe and can't activate Fordpass Connect. Thanks.

Can you activate FordPass Connect using Wi-Fi instead? I do that sometimes since 4G is unreliable in some areas.

If your are using CarPlay with Apple maps then you'll see the turn by turn on the gauge cluster.
Use Waze or Google maps and you will not see the updates on the gauge cluster.

Last night, I used Google Maps and Ford's built-in navigation picked it up and started displaying it on my gauge cluster. I didn't bother looking for ways to turn it off though, I thought it was nice.
