Default Gas Particulate Filter (GPF)

Does anyone actually have a 2026 f150 with the 3.5 EcoBoost that has confirmed it has a GPF? We just purchased a 2026 Lariat 3.5 EB with a build date of 01/2026 and I haven’t been able to locate anything underneath that looks like a GPF to me. My understanding was that all of the 26’s equipped with the 3.5 EB would have it. If anyone has one or has had the opportunity to look at one, can you please tell me where it’s located and what I should be looking for?
Thank you

According to Pickup Truck Board not on 26 and maybe not on 27, but may come later.
A vid. explains it and why.
Involves recent EPA Rule changes and politics involved.
Good luck.

Hopefully that’s correct… I just watched a video a guy posted showing one on his Bronco Sport and I don’t see anything like that under ours.

[UPDATE] 03/12/2026 I was at our local dealership today and while there I inquired about GPF’s and how to tell if there was one on our truck. They took me to the parts counter where they ran our VIN and apparently we don’t have one. So it appears there are 26’s on lots without them.

But aren't the 26's rated at 381 horsepower because of the DPF? Is anything else different on the 26's besides the DPF to cause the dip in the hp number?

From 400hp to 382hp is what I remember reading, and yes my understanding was that it was directly related to the addition of GPF’s. My assumption was that since our truck didn’t come equipped with one that it would still be 400hp but I could be completely wrong.

I've seen on the Mavericks, if the truck goes to a CARB state (indicated by 50-state emissions on window sticker) the EB models get a GPF. The ones that don't have the 50-state emissions don't have the GPF, but can't be sold in the 17-odd states that participate in CARB. This may not be the case for F150's, but possibly something similar.

Since the receiving dealer isn’t in a CARB state I did wonder about that, and that may be the case? When I looked at the emissions sticker under the hood it said it met the requirements to be sold in California. Since the new regulations don’t go into effect until 2027 I assume that would be a true statement even without the GPF?

Sounds like Ford is handling it differently with the F150 then. Does the window sticker say "50 State Emissions No Charge"?

I’m on my phone so it’s not the best view, but I’m not seeing that on there. The only “No Charge” item I see is the front license plate bracket.
