Default Which fuse to use?

Hey Everyone,

just purchased a 8 panel switch box

and 8 need to connect a mini fuse tap wire to the fuse box under the hood, so when I turn on the truck this will turn on the unit! Below is a diagram for the fuse box under the hood, which is the best fuse to get for ignition switch?

I was thinking position #50 5 amp (powertrain module)

or

#69 5 amp (power steering module)

I would stay away from modules.. Just in case your panel creates any inrush or bad stuff. I'd put it somewhere that doesn't kill driveability. Rear seat climate wouldn't be bad.

How about one of the "upfitter" locations? Are the instructions saying a 5amp circuit? That's not much power.

No it just needs something that turns on when vehicle is on and switches off when vehicle turns off!

Oh, went to their website, now I see what you're trying to do. I'd betcha one of those upfitter positions is just what you need.
