Default Full Screen NAV using Android Google Maps

I don’t have built in NAV on my 2022 F150 XLT, they removed the auto stop/start and NAV with the Chip shortage.

I really don’t mind not having built in NAV since I use my phone for Google Maps.
However, one issue I see when using Android Auto for MAPS is I cannot switch to full screen on the map. It always has the side bar on the right that displays other information.

Anyone know how I can hide the side bar? I know this can be swiped out of the way with the built in NAV by pressing the 4 arrows “X” in the bottom right screen. its not there when using Google MAPS.

It's because Ford has not pushed the software update to allow full screen with Android Auto. It's coming very soon.

Trust me, I'm waiting as impatiently as you! I'm even an AA and Waze beta tester.

Full screen AA navigation won't be AS full screen as the built in navigation is. There will still be a side bar from what I've read elsewhere.
