It does, but in a weird way. You can't go full width for a single app (like maps) until you get CoolWalk enabled from Google's servers (search that for more info, it's rolling out). So for now you get a split panel just like the side cards in SYNC, but it's an Android Auto side card.

3.5.3, for Sync version 22228.

Any way to force this update yet? Have an August 2022 Job 2 truck with Alexa built-in, but no full-screen CarPlay.

I just updated to Sync4 Version 22228 and have Full screen Apple Carplay, but when using Apple Carplay, it will disconnect, then reconnect, may do that once or twice. Anybody else been having that issue?

I am not sure what that is. If is it FDRS compatible, it may state it on the manufacturers website. Or you could call them and ask. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

EDIT: Reading the UCDS forums it appears it was compatible with FDRS for version 24 and previous, but FDRS is now on version 33, and you cannot download older software. So I am going to say no, the UCDS won't work

2nd EDIT: here is the Ford list of all approved FDRS compatible devices

Does PowerUp version and sync version two different things? Are the versions linked?

PowerUp and Sync Versions are not the same thing.

Look in Ford pass, account, message center, "subject line "You're rolling".
You can do it in the truck.
