Default Front door reflector?

So are these just reflectors? Crazy I just noticed these, but I couldn’t find anything on them. Would be nice if the had a light.

Not even really a reflector. It’s just a red plastic. It pops off to reveal a screw to remove the door panel.

A reflector would be perfect in this place, though, for when the door is open parked on the roadside. Too bad designers didn't think of that; as long as Ford's putting red plastic cover there, why not make it reflective. Might be opportunity for self mod using adhesive backed reflective vinyl.

I think a light would be even better, like a low watt red LED. My wife’s Audi has the Q-ring lights which are pretty cool, but this isn’t a good location for down lighting.

I agree a light would be better, but Ford has deleted a lot of interior lights on the 2022, so even it it had been one in 2021, it would be gone this year. A molded plastic reflector can't cost much more than the red molded plastic piece already there, though.
