Default Fox 2.5 coilover

So I was at 4WP a few days ago and they told me all of the 15-20 pro comp kits up to the 6" kits fit without issue on the 21... on their site they’re advertising the icon’s and rough country for the 21’s as well. Wouldn’t that mean that the fox’s should fit as well? In theory? I don’t want pro comp or icon I’ve had great luck with fox in the past and don’t really want to wait months or a year for fox to release their "21 kit" if the kit from the 20 would fit now.

Lifts and levels from all mfg’s seem to be a big problem now with ‘21. Apparently there is some sensor causing the issue, yet nobody seems to know what the sensor is... Rough country has a 3”, yet if you have over 22” of height...meaning FX4, or plow pkg, then for some un explained reason you are out of luck. I just wanted a kit that didn’t mess with the factory geometry too much, but one that I could have 33’s. The Icons are pretty pricey for a less than 3” lift.

If anyone has info, I would love to hear. I’ve never had an issue lifting or leveling a truck until now.

Pretty sure levels that don’t require swapping the UCAs are ok so 2” or so or less should be fine on all trims. Lifts is another story. That’s how i understand it.

That’s kind of what I am seeing as well. Does anybody know the max tire and wheel size that you can get with these kits that are safe to install right now?

3" IMO should require a UCA swap, so anything 2.5 or less should be ok without a UCA swap. I did a UCA swap on a 3" in my last truck.

I had new upper control arms on my last truck with a 3 inch lift as well. The issue with these 21s is something about a sensor, maybe a ride height sensor? But something about that particular 3 inch lift kit with new upper control arms won’t work. Then there’s also the million dollar question of how any of these will or might affect the copilot package? I personally never had any issues on my 2018 with adaptive cruise control or Lane departure warning but I’m not sure how the lane centering Function works, or the copilot package.

That's what Im saying. If you need to swap the UCAs dont and wait. If you don't need to, with a level kit of 2.5 or 2 feel free to level the truck.

I watched a video a few days ago from a dealer in Orangeville Ontario that installed a set of Fox 2.0's on a '21 XLT. according them, no problem. Here's a link that might help you guys.

Yeah I’d like to do the 2.5 kit that retains factory ride height in the rear and has up to 2” of lift in the front... essentially a level so if the 2.0 worked just fine the 2.5 should work as well!

Anybody hear an update on whether Fox is indeed releasing a Gen14 2.5 setup?
