Default Forscan Help Adding Cruise Control

. I have a 2021 Ford F150 XL with the Coyote in it and it DOES NOT HAVE CRUISE. I have done some research and it looks like easiest route is to swap out Steering wheel with Cruise Control button and then enable Cruise Control with the Forscan. My new steering wheel came in yesterday. I have a neighbor who has forscan and advised he would help me if I could find the instructions ( I KNOW LOADED QUESTION) I also posted in the 4 scan sticky thread with no real help. Does any one have any tips and tricks for the Forscan that i could provide to my neighbor?

I am no expert with FORScan, but in @Livnitup spreadsheet of the FORScan mods, if you go to the SECM tab, lines 38-53 list FORScan changes for cruise control based on what side of the steering wheel the button is on and what kind of cruise control is being activated. According to the spreadsheet, the changes that need to be made are the same regardless of the steering wheel:

7C5-02-01 xx** xxxx (Change to 11)

Again: I am not an expert with FORScan. Hopefully this will take you in the right direction and maybe someone else can chime in. Remember to back up the modules before making any changes.

I put cruise control in my 21 XL 2 years ago. First, make sure you get the right switch. There are 4 switches, a blank, one with the CC blank with lane keeping and radio volume(probably the one you currently have), one for basic CC, and one for adaptive CC. You want the basic CC switch. After you install the switch, pretty simple procedure. 3 lines of code will need to be changed: BCM 726-16-01, IPC 720--02-02, and SCCM 724-03-01. The bcm code activates the cruise control, the sccm code tells the computor what switch you have, and the ipc code is for the display in your dash. The bcm and sccm codes are pretty straight forward, look in the spread sheet in sticky's notes and you should be able to figure it out. The ipc is different and will depend on your vin. I couldn't figure it out so I asked for help, livinitup is a good resource. Good luck.
