Default Forscan?

Do y'all recommend buying the OBDLink Ex OBD adaptor from Amazon for $70 and downloading and using Forscan for a 2024 Lariat? Thanks a lot.

Depends on what you are trying to do. I bought a cable to enable bed light and rearview camera at all speeds, pretty handy.

Thanks. Frankly, I don't know.
I had searched videos on YouTube about the new F150s after I bought my Lariat, and videos are showing up concerning various upgrades and mods. There have been several about needing / using Forscan to customize the truck, but first BACKUP the original programming. Some of the things don't interest me like removing the "double horn" if I walk away from the truck while it is on, with the fob in my pocket. There are some lighting adjustments, like "Bambi lighting" that might be useful.

Even if you don't use it for mods it makes a great code reader that will show you every module and not just generic ODB codes.
