I would still love to disable it, just in case. The mere thought of having fake sound is really lame.

Im not sure if XLT’s have it? I’m pretty sure XL’s don’t, but I don’t know what the cut off is.

I can tell you it’s not nearly as noticeable in my 2022 as it was in both of my gen 13 trucks. I think some of that comes from the dual exhaust I have. My 2022 is certainly A bit louder because if the dual exhaust. So there is less of a difference when I shut it off. That’s my guess.

Tonight I tried the disable auto reverse braking mod.

IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx xxx* xx—

My default was 9, so I used 8.

After that I had an error on my cluster that the pre collision assist system was disabled. I might not be calling it the exact right thing. Below is a pic of the icon.

Any ideas? @Livnitup

Edit: I tried it again with the setting off prior to the mod, got the same error. This time I got a pic of it. I can confirm the setting goes away on the screen, but I’m left with this error.

Ok, summary of the Forscan changes I have made to my 21 Raptor 801A. The following changes were made and worked as expected:
- Adaptive/Glare Free Headlights
- Digital Fluid Temps
- Headlamp Switch Memory
- Lincoln Autofold Mirrors (which do exhibit some of the quirks already noted on the forum, specifically the mirrors unfolding even if I hit the lock button inside before closing the driver door, then fold back in after the door is closed - kind of pointless....)
- Global Windows (front windows only, even though the Sync menu info says it will also open/close the sunroof)
- DRLs Full Brightness
- Bambi mode
- Fogs with DRLs (although this forces fogs on, and they cannot be turned off with the switch when in Auto)
- Pkg Lamps with DRLs (had to enable this to get the three lights across the top of the grill to be on with DRLs)
- Double Horn Honk Disable

The following are changes I cannot get to enable:
- Walk Away Lock (WAL) - Adds the option to the Sync Menu, but cannot enable. Need to keep looking for the associated Module/Address that would allow this to be enabled, if there is one
- Disable *** Light - the disables the switch completely when used with the Autostop Eliminator Device, which I installed (and highly recommend - retains the last chosen position, so one can still activate the *** when desired). Was hoping it would just defeat the light on the switch.
- Onboard Scales - Still unable to get this and the Smart Hitch options to do anything other than add to the Sync menu. Looking like we need to understand the addresses within the GWM module and possibly the VDM module. I can access both modules, but have no idea which addresses do what, so if anyone has a clue on either of these, let me know and I am willing to give it a try.

Does the Raptor even have the hardware for this? I assumed the Live Valve dampers had their own sensors, not the external ones used on the leaf-sprung rear ends.

Raptor has the same leveling sensors that are used for the dynamic headlight leveling and the scales. Taillights have the segmented LEDs, VDM module etc. should have all the necessary hardware. Question is whether the software is there to allow scales to be enabled.

Thank you to everyone that has contributed to this thread and special thanks to @Livnitup for maintaining the spreadsheet with all the information. Been working through the nearly 200 pages of information and its amazing how much information is available and the large community that is working through this. Have the software and the EX unit and will start some of the mods now that i have read through everything.

Word of advice: Start slow. Don't go overboard with changes all at once, right off the bat. Do one or two mods, then test and/or let it go for a day or two. If you make a whole bunch of changes and accidentally screw one up, you will have a hard time trying to figure out which one was the culprit. Also, document ALL of your changes, both BEFORE and AFTER.

@roadPilot Solid advice and I plan too. Hence why i have read through everything once before even starting the mods. This thread started over a year before my truck was built and there was a lot of early information that appears to have changed as the modules progressed from 2021 job 1 through job 2. Also, being a built for Canada Lariat 502A, i have been following @Airborne_Ape 's posts as the trucks seem to be similar.

Looking for some help on deciphering where my truck is with respect to software updates - if it has done any at all or if anything is pending. Originally posted this request in the Software updates thread and @rugedraw checked from the US but saw nothing listed for OTA info - is the Canadian system different so that my info would need to be accessed through a different system to get the info. Reason for posting this here is (a) the larger community that might be able to help and (b) Wondering if Forscan accesses areas that might confirm whether OTA's have been attempted or completed as well as what the current version of Power Up is on the truck.

2021 Lariat SCrew Powerboost, 502A, FX4, VIN 1FTFW1ED2MFC56041 SYNC 4 Software Version: 21223_PRODUCT Revision 197 (Seem to recall some posts indicating that there is a newer version out there)
No known OTA's since i got the truck Dec 31 and nothing listed in FordPass/sync indicating anything.
In reading Airborne Ape's posts, his Lariat appears to have been getting updates off and on throughout the time since so not sure why mine isn't?

Thanks in advance.

There's another member here with a '21 Raptor that has tried all known values in APIM & VDM to get it working and has been unsuccessful so we're not sure if it can be made to work on a Raptor at this point. Sorry, wish I had more info for you.
