How do you set Ford Pass to be alerted when hood or door opens? I can't figure that out in the Ford Pass settings.

The option used to be in the settings and features, but it disappeared after one of the app updates. I am curious how to do it now as well.

[QUOTE=They also cut a hole in my grille to disable the horn. [/QUOTE]

I guess I should locate that wire and add some protection or extend and reroute or something. That appears to be the first key to a theft attempt is to disable the horn that Ford conveniently installed with easy access to the wires. Maybe slowing them down there will throw a kink in their procedure , in so many case speed of operation is the key to their theft success, doing anything to slow them down has to help

That is half the reason I did this (heavy duty stainless mesh). The other is preventing rock strikes (which put a small hole in my Suburban radiator).

Personally, I find the pics informative so I can keep an eye on those areas of my truck.
I agree with your slant on posting. But in all fairness I would have been hesitant in posting how it happened… out of fear of someone replying with “Way to go Turkey, let’s show the entire world how easy it is to steal our trucks!” Ha!
