How does one find the empty weight of their truck? Is it on a document and I just missed it?

Best way is probably to take it to a CAT scale and weight it empty. The problem often is that "empty" often has some after market stuff that adds weight, so only way to really tell is to weigh it.

I was so excited to see post #1 of this thread, and so pissed right now that they took it away. One could save hours of time opening car doors on lots by just plugging in your VIN !
