Default Ford Pass Points

Just an FYI for people who may not know.

I finally got my 42,000 Ford Pass loaded on my app today.

If you have not registered your vehicle, you have 60 days from purchase to activate your modem and request your points.

Supposedly, if you buy a new F150, you get 42,000 and a F250, you get 70,000 points. Anyone having trouble, there is a CS line (833)385-0516.

Oil change at dealership is about 11,000 points.

Pretty cool Ford app to schedule remote starts, see how much gas you have, check recalls and see where your vehicle is at.

I didn't activate a modem that I know of. Sales guy removed last truck and added this one. I see the 42000 points in the app. If I scan for WiFi 2 locked ones come up.

I didn't activate my modem either but already received my points. Waiting to activate it so we are still in the 3 month free range when camping this summer and my son needs it for his online classes. Going to use my points for add on items like wheel locks and wind deflectors. First oil change at dealer is free.

Also worth noting you can use the points towards a vehicle purchase. We have 98k points and I intend to turn them in when I get my '21, since I will get 42k more for getting the truck which will cover oil changes.

Can you use the Fordpass points to purchase parts?

I change my own oil, but want to buy a magnetic oil drain plug if Ford parts has them.

Just got to the dealer parts counter and tell them you would like to use your Ford Rewards points for a purchase. I have been told you can even use the towards an extended warranty purchase.

For the people that have not played around with the app, you can schedule remote starts.

In the winter have the truck nice and warm and in hot regions have it nice and cool in the afternoon.
